Favorite Toy: Do ducks count as toys?
Favorite Food: I love any treat from Three Dog... But I've also been known to eat comforters and rocks-so I'm not too picky.
Best Trick: Making people think I'm actually a good, well-behaved dog.......
Funny Personality Traits:I have crazy manic episodes where I run around the living room barking and bouncing off the couch!
Best Part of Coming to Work:I don't get to come to work very often because I indulge in the biscuit bins too much.

July Dog's Night Out at Cafe Roux!

Our third Dog's Night Out of the season is fast approaching! Many of our customers are regular attendees but there are plenty who really don't even know what Dog's Night Out is. This blog is for you!

Dog's Night Out is an event where Three Dog Bakery teams up with a local restaurant that has outdoor seating for a doggie dinner party. We serve the dogs a 4 course meal while you order off of the restaurant's normal menu for yourself.

The menu for the dogs changes from year to year and restaurant to restaurant- we like to try and match up with the restaurant's style! For example last year at Lidia's dogs dined on appetizer baskets, 'chow wow cheese pizzas', 'muttacati' and "corgi canolis'.

Our July Dog's Night Out will be at Cafe Roux, a restaurant that features 'cajun food with a southern twist' on Tuesday, July 20th. You can check out their menu at: http://thecaferoux.com/

Pre-registration is required for this event. Cost is just $15.00 per dog and all of the net proceeds benefit the Three Dog Bakery(R) Foundation. Our 8:00 seating filled up within days of registration opening, but we still have some seats at 6:00- so call the bakery now to sign up! (816) 753-3647.

Once you have arrived to the event, the rules are pretty simple:

1 dog to 1 person
Adults 13 & up
All dogs must be kept on a 4ft leash (No retractable leashes, please.)
Reservations must be made in store or by phone. We cannot take reservations via email or internet.
Payment is required at the time the reservation is made and cannot be refunded as it is a donation for our non-profit branch. All net proceeds are donated to Three Dog Bakery Foundation.

Fuzzy Fotos Competition

We are excited to be contestants in Fuzzy Fotos; a fundraiser benefiting the Kansas City Free Health Clinic & No More Homeless Pets KC that pits Kansas Citians and their pets against each other in a photo voting contest!

All that you need to do is visit http://www.fuzzyfotoskc.com/ and vote for Amanda, Sarah and their dogs Piper the Australian Shepherd and Lexi the Boxer! It is just $5.00 per vote, and you can vote as many times as you like from July 1- July 31.

Our competition will also be on the website, erase those from your memory – they’re just there to distract you away from the only photo that counts! Okay, we’re just kidding on that last part….kind of. But in all seriousness, we are all competing for a great cause that helps get people and animals alike the medical attention they otherwise might not receive because of financial issues.

Check out how even just one vote can make a huge difference in the medical care a person or their pet receives!

1 vote = a week of antibiotics and cold

2 votes = a pre-employment TB screening
for a patient
5 votes = diabetic supplies for a month for
