Dog's Night Out at Renee Kelly's

Our Dog's Night Out season for 2011 has begun! Many of our customers are regular attendees but there are plenty who really don't even know what Dog's Night Out is. This blog is for you!

Dog's Night Out is an event where Three Dog Bakery teams up with a local restaurant for a doggie dinner party. We serve the dogs a 4 course meal while you order off of the restaurant's normal menu for yourself. In the warmer months we take over the restaurant's patio - for our January event we will be taking over inside!

The menu for the dogs changes from year to year and restaurant to restaurant- we like to try and match up with the restaurant's style! For example last year at Lidia's dogs dined on yappetizer baskets, 'chow wow cheese pizzas', 'muttacati' and "corgi canolis'.

Our January Dog's Night Out will be at Renee Kelly's on Tuesday, January 25th . Seating will be available at 6:00, 6:45 and 7:30PM.

Pre-registration is required for this event. Cost is just $20.00 per dog and a portion of all net proceeds benefit the Three Dog Bakery(R) Foundation.

Dog's Night Out fills up quickly, so be sure to reserve your spot early! You may reserve your spot by calling the bakery at (816) 753-3647 or by dropping by the bakery and signing up in person.

Once you have arrived the rules are pretty simple:
1 dog to 1 person. Adults 13 & up. All dogs must be kept on a 4ft leash (No retractable leashes, please.)Reservations must be made in store or by phone. We cannot take reservations via email or internet.Payment is required at the time the reservation is made and cannot be refunded as it is a donation for our non-profit branch. A portion of net proceeds are donated to Three Dog Bakery Foundation.

Holiday Gift Ideas

If you're looking for a unique and festive gift for the furry friends in your life, look no further! This blog highlights some of our most popular holiday items - but there are still plenty of other things available at the bakery as well!

We are excited to be selling Three Dog Bakery branded mugs! The mugs are dishwasher & microwave safe and come with a package of our holiday Peanut Butter Rollover Rewards or Miniature Spearmint Biscuits.

Our pre-made stockings are a quick and easy way to pick up a nice assortment of things! Filled with a toy, rawhide and some of our tasty biscuits, these stockings are sure to be a hit with the lucky dog in your life.

Looking for something nearly indestructible for the enthusiastic chewer? We now carry naturally shed elk antlers – weather hardened; these antlers are durable and not prone to cracking or breaking like other bones. They’re great for dogs with bovine allergies, help to scrape tartar off of teeth and wont stain your carpet (or in my case, my dog's white legs!). We carry sizes for every dog from extra small to ‘jumbo’!

We have a bit of everthing for our holiday toy selection this year - some toys have a chew guard lining or a tighter weave to help protect against the more aggressive chewers. If your dog takes delight in 'killing' their toys ask us for de'tails' on which toys are most likely to survive the longest! (Piper gives the Christmas Wreath 2 paws up!)

Our holiday collar charms are on sale for just $5.95 this year! We have everything from snowmen and candy canes to ho ho charms, so swing by the bakery to pick up some Christmas bling for your pups today!

For a limited time only:

The Holiday Value Pack includes 4 of your favorite treats for just $19.95. That is the equivilant of 4 boxes for the price of 3!

Begg-Nog Squares: A crunchy wafer cookie made with real cinnamon, molasses and vanilla these cookies are a grrreat holiday treat!
Classic Wafer Holiday Duo: Yummy cranberry cookies made with real cranberry flavor and just-like-mom's banana nut cookies made with real peanuts and banana flavor.

All About Macy!

Macy

Name: Macy Grace

Age: Almost 3 yrs old
Siblings: My brother is Max-a black Lab
Pet Peeves: I HATE it when Max hits me in the face with his tail. It hurts!!!
Favorite Past-times: Playing with Max at the dog park, running, chewing on rawhides, chasing ducks-or anything that moves really!
Favorite Toy: Do ducks count as toys?
Favorite Food: I love any treat from Three Dog... But I've also been known to eat comforters and rocks-so I'm not too picky.
Best Trick: Making people think I'm actually a good, well-behaved dog.......
Funny Personality Traits:I have crazy manic episodes where I run around the living room barking and bouncing off the couch!
Best Part of Coming to Work:I don't get to come to work very often because I indulge in the biscuit bins too much.
